Moving & deleting your data

A personal privacy request, cancelling a subscription and transferring an entire workspace are different things. We help you make the right request.

Delete your Drivaxo account

You can ask at any time for your Drivaxo sign-in account to be deleted. Drivaxo is provided by Drivaro. In the app: Settings › Delete my account. Or e-mail [email protected] with the subject «Delete my Drivaxo account», from the e-mail address you sign in with, naming your company. We check that the request is yours and answer within one month, usually much sooner.

Deleted: your sign-in account (e-mail address, name and password credentials), your signed-in devices, sessions and notification registrations, and your settings such as your language. May be kept: work records your company is responsible for as employer — trip reports, fuel entries, complaint answers and your employee file — which we help you raise with your company; a record of important actions, kept for security and legal obligations; and database backups, whose cloud copies follow a 90-day deletion rule plus a seven-day recovery period.

Email a deletion request

Your own data

Request access, correction, deletion or another privacy right through [email protected]. Include your account email, company and request. Do not send an identity-document copy or password. We verify your identity only as needed.

For account and service data we control, we respond without undue delay and normally within one month; we explain any lawful extension within that month. If your request concerns work records controlled by your company, we promptly pass it to the responsible company and help it respond. You may contact us directly rather than only through your employer. Deleting your sign-in account does not automatically erase work records that the company may lawfully retain; the responsible party explains any restriction or refusal.

Taking your business data with you

An authorised company contact can request transfer, switching or deletion. We confirm scope, destination, secure delivery, available formats and timing in writing. Your data stays separate from other customers’ data; password hashes, secret keys and other companies’ records are never included.

Existing screen exports are not necessarily a complete company export. A full export must also cover relevant attachments, relationships and history. We confirm what can be supplied and any technical limitations in advance; we do not promise a one-click export that does not exist.

Switching services

Where the EU Data Act applies, this page does not restrict statutory switching rights. This information page is not the written switching agreement. Before contracting, that agreement must identify exportable data and formats, permitted exclusions, assistance, continuity, security and the applicable steps and charges.

The statutory framework includes a maximum two-month notice period to start switching, normally a maximum 30-calendar-day transition and at least 30 calendar days afterwards to retrieve data. A technically necessary exception must be justified under the law; customers can also extend the transition once. Any switching charge must comply with the law; where the Data Act applies, such charges are prohibited from 12 January 2027.

Retention, deletion and backups

Automatic complaint deletion is not currently active. The proposed 30-day period starts only after confirmed closure of an email-sourced complaint. It concerns the email copies and associated closed case held in Drivaxo, provided no follow-up, dispute or other lawful reason to keep them remains. Closure and retention-hold checks must be implemented and the scope agreed with the responsible customer before activation.

This rule would not delete original messages in Gmail or Outlook, manual cases or future direct carrier-API imports. Those other records still need suitable retention periods; excluding them from this proposed rule does not permit indefinite storage.

Our database-backup setup cleans up local copies after roughly two weeks. Google Cloud applies a 90-day deletion rule to each backup, then retains deleted objects in a recoverable state for seven more days. A deletion request does not restart those periods. Backups are not used for daily work; after a restore, earlier deletions must be reapplied. We also assess any evidence that must lawfully be retained.
